Dakota State University participates in the SDBoR Campus Alert System. The Everbridge Mass Notification (MN) Campus Alert System is a system selected application to provide emergency alert notifications to active members (i.e. students, faculty, staff, and non-employee staff that report regularly to a university location).
In order to be able to provide campus users with timely information in the event of emergency status at each location, users need to sign up for Emergency Alert Program and set their preferences of how to receive this information. We are able to provide users with critical information quickly in a variety of situation, such as severe weather, unexpected closures, missing persons, security concerns, and evacuations of buildings.
Users will receive time-sensitive messages wherever you specify, such as home, mobile or business phones, email address, text messages and more. You pick where, you pick how.
