Overview
Dakota State University offers Microsoft365 to all staff, faculty, and currently enrolled students.
Students not currently enrolled: Access to Microsoft365 will be activated once you have registered for courses in the upcoming semester.
Students from other South Dakota Board of Regents institutions: please reach out to your school's Help Desk for information on Microsoft365 availability.

To begin, click here or navigate to office.com

Next click on the Sign In button in the top right corner of the website.

Now enter your DSU email address and click on the Next button. This will take you to the DSU SSO page.

When the page loads, enter your DSU password and click the Sign In button.
NOTE: You will need DUO setup to continue.

Then navigate to and click the "Install and more" button on the top right of the page.

Now chose "Install Microsoft365 Apps" from the options.
- Then on the My Account page, under Office Apps & Devices, choose "Install Office".

Next, Download and run the OfficeSetup.exe file.
Mac OS

Now chose "Install Microsoft365 Apps" from the options.
- Then on the My Account page, under Office Apps & Devices, choose "Install Office".

Next, allow the download when prompted.

When it finishes downloading, double click on the Installer.pkg file.
- Now in the installer window, click Continue.

Click Continue again, and then click on Agree to agree to the Software License Agreement.

Now chose if you want to install for all users, or just for yourself.

Next click Continue, and then click Install.
