How do I get my device to the campus wireless network?

Overview

How to connect the majority of devices to the GoTrojans Wireless network. Although we can not hope to cover every single device in existence, this article should help provide a basic setup to follow.

Environment

Wi-Fi
Microsoft Windows
Mac OSX
Android
Apple iOS

Resolution

Windows

Select the Network icon on the taskbar (Note: It may show as a globe, a monitor or a Wifi symbol)
Select the GoTrojans Wifi Network
Select Connect (you can also check mark Connect automatically)
Enter your credentials:
- Your DSU email address and password
Select Connect
You will see the message "Continue Connecting?
Select Connect
If the connection was successful it will now say "Connected, secured"

Mac OS

In the Menu Bar at the top right of your screen, select the Wifi icon
Select the GoTrojans Wifi Network
Enter your credentials:
- Your DSU email address and password
You will see a Verify Certificate notification:
- Authenticating to network "GoTrojans"
Click Continue

Android

Swipe down from you home screen, and select the the gear located in the bottom right corner.
Select Wi-Fi
Select GoTrojans Network
Confirm your settings match below:
- EAP Method: PEAP
- Phase 2 Authentication: MSCHAPV2
- CA Certificate: Use System Certificates
- Online Certification Status: Do Not Verify
- Domain: dsu.edu
- Identity: Your DSU username or email address
- Anonymous identity: Leave Blank
- Password: Your DSU Password
Then select Connect.

iOS

Open settings
Open Wi-Fi Settings
Select GoTrojans Wi-Fi Network
Enter DSU Username and Password
Select Trust when provided the Certificate
