Reset: DSU Network Password – Off Campus Staff
Overview:
DSU Network Account: This account gives you access to many services offered by DSU. To keep your accounts safe, we highly recommend you create a unique password – one that you don’t use anywhere else. Some of the services that will required your DSU account are: Webmail, Outlook, Office365, wireless access, printing, IA lab, VM View and personal web space.
All DSU Network Accounts need to be reset/changed at least every 180 days (unless you opt-in to a Long Life Password). All users will receive their first email alert starting fifteen (15) days prior to your account password expiration. Users will continue to receive this message days 10, 5, 4, 3, 2 & 1.

To Reset Your DSU Network Account while off campus
Head to MyDSU.
Click Manage My Account.
Under Manage My Account, Sign in using your DSU Credentials.
Once logged in, under the Security section, click Change in the password section.
Select from a long life (non expiring) or standard password.
Enter your desired password in the boxes and click Reset My Password
Reset Completed Successfully
You will receive a message that “Your password has been reset successfully. Please log in using your New Password”. You can now log into DSU sites using your new password.
You can review and edit your alternative email address here as well as your security questions and answers.
What you need to know when you return to campus? (Windows Only)
Until you return to campus, you will need to use your “old” password to log into the device and you should be prompted for the new password when accessing email and other DSU network resources while off campus.
Once you return to campus, if possible, dock or connect your device to network cable. Using Ctrl-Alt-Del, lock your device. Ctrl-Alt-Del to unlock and enter your new password. This will cache your new password.

Don’t forget to reset your WebMail credentials in MyDSU portal after your recent password reset.
