Panopto - Restore Videos in the Recycle Bin and Permanently Delete Recordings

Overview

In Panopto Creators can delete recordings by sending them to the Recycle Bin. Creators can access the Recycle Bin to restore only the recordings they've deleted. Deleted recordings will be stored in the Recycle Bin for 90 days, after which time, they will be permanently deleted.

Only Administrators can access information on deleted recordings, and choose to restore or permanently delete any recordings in the Recycle Bin by default. If you wish to allow Department Administrators and/or Creators to also have the ability to permanently delete recordings they have proper access to, please contact Panopto Support for assistance.
