Resolution
  1. Go to the Google Play Store and install the Intune Company Portal app.

  2. Open the Intune Company Portal app.

  3. Click Sign In.

  4. On the next page you’ll be asked to enter a phone or email address. Fill it in with
your @dsu.edu email account and select next.

  5. This should then bring you to the DSU ADFS sign in page. Sign in here as you typically would for any other school resources and select the sign in button.

  6. Once signed in, the device should prompt you for DUO MFA.

  7. Select “Yes, this is my device.”

  8. From this point you should be taken to the DSU pane for Intune Client Portal. This app brokers the communication between DSU and your apps accessing DSU resources. You can close out of this app now.

  9. Next, you’ll want to restart your Outlook app on your phone if you were already using it to access your DSU email. If you’ve already had it installed, you may be prompted to re-sign back in and verify using MFA. You can then skip to “Check if your device is setup correctly” section. If you don’t have Outlook installed, please continue.

  10. Go to the Google Play Store and install the Microsoft Outlook app.

  11. Open the Outlook App on your Device

  12. One you open the app you’ll be prompted to add an account. Select Add Account.

  13. Enter your @dsu.edu email address and continue.

  14. This will bring up the DSU ADFS sign in again along with the DUO challenge. Follow this as before.

  15. From here you should be prompted if you’d like to add another account to your device. Select the “Maybe Later” grey option in the bottom left and your device should start syncing.

  16. As the account syncs, you should then receive a pop-up prompt to set a PIN for your outlook account. This can be the same as your current device PIN or different. It just needs to follow the requirements prompted on screen.

  17. Confirm PIN

  18. From your inbox you can select your profile icon in the top left. This should pull up a side pane. On the bottom left you should see a gear cog for Settings.

  19. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and you should see a Privacy Settings option, select it.

  20. You should see your DSU account listed as the Primary and that this app is being managed by your company administrator.
