Overview
Rooms with video conferencing and recording equipment have motorized cameras that can zoom in/out and move positions to capture what is needed in the room. These directions outline the different kinds of cameras and how to control them.

The rooms in the article List of Rooms with Video Conferencing and Recording Capabilities are equipped with PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) cameras that can be remote controlled to point to different areas in the room and zoom in/out. If the room has a touch panel it can be controlled from that and also recall presets. If it does not, there will be a remote control at the instructor station to control the camera and recall presets.

1. Press the camera icon tab at the bottom of the screen to show the camera control. Some rooms will show a video preview of the camera (it is normal for it to be choppy in the preview.) Others will just show arrows to control the camera. Use Zoom or other software to see the camera on your laptop.
