Requesting Help With Accounts

Introduction:


If you cannot setup or access your account click Report Account Issue to submit a ticket to the ITS Support Desk, a technician will contact you during DSU business hours.

Account Descriptions


DSU Network Account:  This account gives you access to many services offered by DSU.  To keep your accounts safe, we highly recommend you create a unique password – one that you don’t use anywhere else.  Some of the services that will required your DSU account are:  D2L, Student Self-Service, Webmail, Outlook, Office365, wireless access, printing, IA lab, VM View and personal web space.

BORIS (Board of Regents Identity System):  This account gives you access to the SDBoR services used by all universities in the SD system including:  MyDSU Portal, and Starfish.

Colleague (Datatel): This account gives you access to the SDBOR student system.  This is a secure system and special access must be granted.  Staff accounts only.

SNAP: This account gives you access to the SDBOR staff time and leave system.  This is a secure system and only employees will have access.

If you are having an issue with any of your campus accounts and/or accessing available systems, please submit request for additional help.
