Resolution

Step 1: Remove the Campus Printer

  1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences on older macOS versions).
  2. Select Printers & Scanners (may appear as Print & Fax on older systems).
  3. The printer has now been removed from your device.

  4. In the printer list, select the campus printer you want to remove.
  5. Click the – (minus) button below the printer list.
  6. Confirm removal if prompted.

Step 2: Remove Saved Credentials from Keychain

If you recently changed your password or are getting authentication errors, you must remove the saved credentials.

  1. Open Finder.
  2. Go to ApplicationsUtilities.
  3. Open Keychain Access.
  4. Look for the printer by name.
  5. Right-click each related entry and select Delete.
  6. Confirm deletion when prompted.

Close Keychain Access when finished.

Step 3: Re-Add the Campus Printer

  1. Open System Settings (or System Preferences).
  2. Select Printers & Scanners.
  3. Click the + (plus) button below the printer list.
  4. Select the desired campus printer from the list.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Sign-in with you DSU credentials to add the printer.
  7. Try to print something.
  8. On the print job screen you may see an message Hold for Authentication.
    1. Click on the lock with the circular arrow around it.
    2. Enter you DSU credentials again.

You are now ready to print.

Important Note (If Printers Do Not Appear)

If campus printers do not appear in the list:

  1. Open System Settings.
  2. Select Wi-Fi.
  3. Click Details… next to the GoTrojans network.
  4. Ensure Limit IP address tracking is set to Off.
  5. Return to Printers & Scanners and try again.

If You Still Experience Issues

If printing continues to fail:

  • Restart your computer.
  • Ensure you are connected to the GoTrojans network.
  • Submit a ticket with the Support Desk.
