Problem: Student can't see course in D2L

  • I can see my course in D2L, but my students can't.  Help!

 

Steps to activate a course in D2L

To activate your course in D2L, follow the steps below

  • Navigate to the course home page within D2L
  • Click "Edit Course" on the right side of the navigation bar
  • Click "Course Offering Information" You should find this link towards the top of the page in the center column
  • Scroll to about the middle of the page, you'll see a black bold header, "Active" and a check box "Course is active"
  • Click the box, then save, and your students will be able to see your course on their home page.

 

Deactivate a course
  • Do not deactivate a course.  Courses will automatically deactivate upon the end date set in Banner.
