Get Connected to GoTrojans Wireless at DSU (Linux Specific)

• How do I connect my Linux system to the GoTrojans wireless network?

How to connect the majority of Linux systems to the GoTrojans Wireless network. A variety of WiFi subsystems exist for Linux, so this article aims to cover the only the most widely used.  Others should be configurable using similar parameters. 

• A Linux host with any of the following WiFi subsystems:

  • NetworkManager

For Linux systems using NetworkManager:

1. From your WiFi network list, select GoTrojans

2. When prompted, use the following configuration settings
   1. Wi-Fi security: WPA & WPA2 Enterprise
   2. Authentication: Protected EAP (PEAP)
   3. Anonymous identity: (leave blank)
   4. Domain: (leave blank)
   5. CA certificate: (None)
   6. Check the box No CA certificate is required
   7. PEAP version: Automatic
   8. Inner authentication: MSCHAPv2
   9. Username: Your DSU network username
   10. Password: Your DSU network password
