Mobile ID Device Requirements

Issue/Question
  • Is my device compatible with Mobile ID?

  • Why can't I install the eAccount Mobile app on my device(s)?

  • Why can't I login to eAccounts or the Speed Queen laundry app and get stuck on the Microsoft organization login screen?

Overview

Which devices and OS versions are compatible with eAccounts Mobile app. Check your iOS and Android device and version.

Environment

  • Trojan ID and Trojan Silver

  • eAccounts Mobile App

Resolution
iPhone
  • iPhone XR, XS or later
  • iOS 17 or later
    1. Go to Settings>General>Software Updates 

Note:  If your device is running iOS 17 or later you’re ready to use the mobile ID

  1. If not tap Download>Install
  2. Passcode may be required to start install
  3. Follow the instructions to finish upgrading to the latest version of iOS
  • Support Update:

    Support for older devices and operating systems has been retired. Users may need to upgrade their device or operating system to continue using the app. (01/06/2026)

Apple Watch
  • Apple Watch Series 1 or later
  • Watch OS 5 or later

Note:  The Series # for the Apple Watch can be found on the back or the watch.  

  1. Instructions for verifying and/or updating your Apple Watch software version
Android
  • Version 10.0 or later; NFC enabled device capable of supporting Google Wallet.   
  • Go to Settings>General>Software Update>Download>Install
  1. Passcode may be required to start install
  2. Your device will display the estimated download time
  • If the software is current, you can download the eAccounts app from Google Play Store by searching Transact eAccounts
Samsung

Samsung Galaxy Phone

The United States versions of the following eSE (embedded secure element) enabled devices with Android 14 or later OS* and have NFC (near field communication) enabled on the device:

• Galaxy S Series: S20 or later

• Galaxy Note Series: Note20

• Galaxy Z Series: Z Flip 5G, Fold 5G, Z Flip 2, Flip 6, Fold 2 and Fold 6 or later

• Galaxy A Series: A53

*Note: This feature may not work on S20 FE 5G models, Galaxy A71 5G, Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Note10+, Galaxy Note10+ 5G, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10 5G, Galaxy S10 Lite, Galaxy S10+, Galaxy S10e, Galaxy Z Flip and on international versions of all devices. You can find your device information by going to Settings > About phone > Product Name.

Important: Devices running Android 13 or earlier are no longer supported.  Compatibility may vary by device, model and region.

 

Galaxy Watch: Watch6 or later or Galaxy Watch Ultra

• eAccounts Mobile App: Loaded from the Google Play store by searching Transact eAccounts
