DSU Laptop Program: Overview

Overview

At DSU, we prioritize technology in order to enhance the academic environment and create more engaging and interactive classrooms.

As part of the Wireless Mobile Computing Initiative (WMCI), full-time freshmen who are taking 6 or more on-campus credits are eligible to receive a new laptop in the fall. Freshman starting in the spring and transfer students will be assigned a new or refurbished device, based on the inventory at that time. After 4 years of continuous, uninterrupted participation in the DSU Laptop Program, the device assigned to the student is theirs to keep.

Note: students that currently have a Fujitsu device assigned to them will continue with the Fujitsu laptop program agreement rules.

*Students are responsible for the cost of repairs for damage linked to carelessness, negligent use, or loss. Students are responsible for the replacement of the Laptop PC if it is lost or stolen.
