Yes! All incoming students taking 6 or more on-campus credits must participate in DSU's Laptop Program.
Online students are not placed in this program. Online students can purchase a device from our used inventory (if available).
Yes! You can bring your own laptop, desktop, Xbox, Play Station, Nintendo Switch, or any other electronic device to campus. You can also use our wireless Internet on any of these devices.
Yes! If you are assigned a Lenovo device and you participate in the DSU Laptop Program for 4 consecutive, uninterrupted years, the laptop assigned to you becomes yours to keep for a minimal fee. To remain eligible, you must retain your assigned device over the summer months (regardless of summer registration).
Yes. Students who are pre-registered for the upcoming fall semester can keep their assigned device over the summer.
All students that want to keep their assigned device over the summer must complete a Summer Retain - Online Form.
Yes. You have the option to purchase your assigned device if you are: - Transferrring to a different school - Not returning to DSU - Not eligible to keep your device after 4 years Students can check with the Support Desk or Laptop Inventory Pricing for current semester's pricing sheet (coming soon). A Purchase Form can be completed at the Support Desk or online at DSU Laptop Purchase Request Form
