How does Panorama work?

Instructors will see accessibility scores applied to files and HTML pages in their site, along with instructions on how to successfully remediate the content.

Canvas files and pages have an accessibility icon next to their title to indicate to what degree the file is accessible

Students can apply changes to how content is displayed to make pages easier to read and understand. 

changes include letter height, spacing, and font size

 

What are the technical requirements to use Panorama?

The most recent version of a browser will be the most useful in order to use Panorama. Users may also need to add the Panorama Browser Extension for access to all features of the tool. Technical details are offered in this article.

For D2L, Panorama is supported in the following browsers.

  • Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari

Note: Panorama is no longer supported in Internet Explorer.
