Join from a Zoom Link

Here is an example of what a zoom meeting link looks like. https://dsu.zoom.us/j/212157628

When you click the link your default web browser will open. Zoom will automatically download the application, when the file is done downloading open it and you will be joined into the meeting.

If you are having issues installing the software or on a computer that does not allow it, Zoom can be run directly in a browser. At the bottom of your browser there will be an option to “join from your browser”

What Zoom shows in a browser after you click the join link or type in the meeting ID number. Text on the screen give the option to "click here" to launch the meeting or download and run Zoom. At the bottom there is a link to join from your browser if you can not download or run the application.

Join from a Meeting ID

The meeting ID may be given to you instead of a link. You can also determine the Zoom Meeting ID from the link. The ID number are the number at the end of the Zoom meeting link. For example, the meeting ID for this link https://dsu.zoom.us/j/212157628 is 212-157-628

To join a meeting with the meeting ID, go to https://dsu.zoom.us/

Click join and then type in the meeting ID.
