Transfer Quiz Questions and Quizzes from WebCT to D2L

You can export all quiz questions and quizzes as a zip package file and import the zip file into a standard course management system such as Desire2Learn. Here's how:

1. Open your WebCT course and select “Control Panel” > “Manage Course” > “Export Content”, and select “Quizzes, Surveys, and Question Database”, and then click “Continue”.
   
   
    
2. All the quizzes and questions will be packed in a zip file under “My Files” in WebCT.
3. Go to “Control Panel” > “Manage Files”. Find the zip file and select “Download” from the Actions panel to download the file to your desktop.
4. Open your D2L course.
5. Select "Edit Course" > "Import ... Components"
6. Select "Import Components" > "from a File"
7. Click the Browse button to find the exported zip on your desktop to load it into D2L.
   
   
    
8. Follow the instructions and D2L will give confirmations as you proceed.
