Copy Course Components

You can use the copy components features to:

• Reuse components created in a previous course offering
• add components created by other instructions into your own course offering.
• Set up standard component inside a course template and copy then into a new course offering each time a course is re-offered.

The follow instructions allow you to copy Course Content from one D2L course to another step by step.

1. Open your new D2L course site and then Click Edit Course .
2. In the "Edit Course", Click Import/Export/Copy Components.
3. The Import/Export/Copy Components page displays, the default button of Copy Components from another Org Unit is selected, click on Next button.

4. The Copy Course Components page appears, Choose Existing Offering to copy components, click Search for offering to find the course offering using a pop-up search screen.
   
   
   
    
5. You can enter key word in search box to find the course and then select course you want to copy. Click Add Selected.
    
   
   
    
6. Check Content and Course Files which are associated with content. If you want to copy all components, just check Select All Components and then click Next.

7. The Confirm Component to Copy page appears, you can change the items selected by clicking Modify, or click Next to begin copying.

8. The Copy Summary page displays, showing the copy progress. When The process is finished, click Done.
    
9. Now click "Content" link on the bottom left menu to check the content that you have just copied.
